BTA Bank JSC is pleased to announce that on October, 26 2010 Standard & Poor's Ratings Services raised its long-term counterparty credit ratings to 'B-' from 'D' and its short-term counterparty credit ratings to 'C' from 'D'.

JSC BTA Bank Applies for Permanent Injunctive Relief in The U.S. in Support of Its Restructuring
Yesterday, Mr Anvar Saidenov, the chairman of JSC BTA Bank, in his capacity as BTA’s authorised foreign representative in relation to the restructuring of BTA's financial indebtedness, filed a motion with the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York for an order granting, among other things, permanent injunctive relief in support of the Restructuring.
