Currency Laws Requirements to Money Transfers:

BTA Bank carries out money transfer transactions in line with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

• Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan can effect payments and transfers under currency operations according to the existing currency laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
• Money transfers for an unlimited amount can be effected with and without an account provided that confirming documents are produced.
• Foreign citizens can send/ receive money transfers for an unlimited amount.
• Gratuitous money transfers can be effected with and without an account in any currency, with no limitation of its amount, territory and status of residence.

To send a money transfer you must:

• know requisites of the Recipient’s bank. Data of the Recipient shall include the following:
• if a money transfer is sent to an individual, please fill in the last, first, patronymic name of the Recipient and number of the banking account or data of his/her identity document, if no banking account is available;
• if a money transfer is sent to an entity, please fill in the name of the company, number of the current account of the company.
• Come to any cash settlement center of the Bank at any time that suits you.
• Show the identity document and document of permanent residence in the Republic of Kazakhstan (for foreign citizens and stateless persons) to a bank manager.
• Meet requirements of currency regulations as regards the money transfer.
• Fill in an application form to send a money transfer. Please state accurate details of the Recipient.
• Pay the amount of the transfer and a fee as per Bank’s tariffs.

To receive a money transfer you must:

• Approach any cash settlement center of the Bank where you have a banking account (current or card) or receive cash without a banking account;
• Show the identity document and document of permanent residence in the Republic of Kazakhstan (for foreign citizens and stateless persons) to a bank manager.
• Fill in an application form to receive a money transfer.
• Pay a fee for cash services as per Bank’s tariffs.
• Receive the cash.
